In Artistic Innovation 6, to activate students’ creative potential, special emphasis is placed on methods of divergence, denial, analogies, and combination, among others. Various thematic pillars are developed, including color harmonies and color contrast. In terms of compositional elements, volume and perspective are included, as well as an approach to different artistic movements such as realism, abstract art, impressionism, cubism, and surrealism. At the end of each experience, assessment tools such as comparison charts and image reading are used to demonstrate the appropriation of knowledge.
Training purpose: To train individuals capable of feeling, perceiving, thinking, expressing and proposing original artistic compositions applying methods.
Thematic pillars are explored in each of the four Experiences through four essential questions:
Experience 1: Are all people born creative? Justify your answer. What does it take to be recognized as a creative individual?
Experience 2: Does the color facilitate the expression of multiple emotions and feelings? Why? / What type of influence do colors have in our lives?
Experience 3: What do you think should be the artist’s mission? What kind of emotions and feelings can abstract artworks express?
Experience 4: What is the social responsibility of an artist? What should be the purpose of the art genres, along their different themes?
