Artistic Innovation 9, in Experience 1, implements a series of methods to activate students’ creative potential. In the second Experience, it explores analogous and modern colors within artworks and in the field of design. The third Experience guides students in the critical and analytical reading of a work of art. The fourth Experience introduces the basic elements of technical drawing. At the end of each experience, assessment tools such as comparison charts and image analysis are applied to demonstrate the students’ appropriation of knowledge.
Training purpose: To train an innovative individual capable of feeling, perceiving, thinking, expressing, and proposing original artistic compositions applying methods for activating creativity
Thematic pillars are explored in each of the four Experiences through four essential questions:
Experience 1: According to your knowledge, Why is it important to be creative in today’s society? What happens to people who are not creative in today’s world?
Experience 2: Why can it be stated that color harmonies are essential in plastic arts, design, and architecture?
Experience 3: Knowing the theories and elements of analysis for reading an image, is it possible to enjoy an image or an artwork more? Why?
Experience 4: Can one be an architect, engineer, or designer without the contributions of technical drawing?
